While I could have done a million things with this jumpsuit, I wanted to keep a classic black and white look. So I kept EVERYTHING black and white. I added a black straw bag to bring out the black in the suit. Because it’s of a linen material, the striations of black could lean toward navy blue and I wanted to ensure there was no mistaking the two. I used gold jewelry as accents and was sure not to use large pieces that would distract from the hat or ruffles around my shoulders. I added a black scalloped belt to accent my waist and break the monotony of the vertical stripes. This also helped with maintaining the dressy look. Don’t get me wrong, I love a vertical stripe, and when I want a casual look, I’ll leave the belt in the closet. But I wanted to keep it dressy. I also chose a black strappy sandal with a high, block heel, which was perfect with the cropped length as well as comfortable for walking.
With spring here and summer right around the corner, I know there are plenty of getaways planned. Be sure to include jumpsuits in your wardrobe for fun, flirty styling that looks amazing dressed up or down!!!
