Since white pairs so well with everything and always gives a clean classic look, we should always consider it an option. For drama, we can have white shoes contrast with an all-black ensemble, or help it balance bright reds or even allow it to fit right in with neutrals. In this post, I went with balance and paired a fabulous pair of white mules with different shades of gray and really like the ease of the look. Everything flows from head to toe, even though the mules are bright white as opposed to an off-white. Do yourself a favor and be sure to get at least one “real” white pair of shoes. Off-white is great. I have plenty off-white shoes, but there is a difference between the two.
Now, if you like a little drama in your style life, try an all-black ensemble: black sweater and skinny jeans with a white pump; or if you have some bright-colored midi skirts or dresses in your closet (reds, oranges, golds, etc.) add a white bootie. Trust me, it will give your outfit an instant lift. White just isn’t for the sneaker anymore, it’s for all of our style needs in winter, spring, summer or fall…day or night. I’ve also posted some of my favorite ones (shop the post link) for fall and beyond. Let me know what you think.
Today’s pick: gray ruffled turtleneck sweater with gray camouflage skinny jeans, paired with white mules, a gray PVC handbag and gold accessories.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
