Guys, it’s mid April and FINALLY spring in Atlanta!! You know what that means for me. Time to share the shoulders. That’s right. When the sun’s out, the arms are out.
It’s no secret that I love black and white together. It’s classic and any time I wear it, it just feels right, no matter the time or place.
I am also a sucker for feminine details so this white ruffled, one-shoulder hits the spot. Because I like to mix things up a little, I found the perfect masculine approach to the feminine flare–joggers!! You’ll rarely see me with an all feminine look or all masculine look because I like complementary clothing. If I have a soft look up top, you can expect a stronger look on the bottom. And that is what this look is all about. This approach also really helps with stretching the wardrobe in that I can mix pieces which gives the appearance and feel of having more.
Speaking of more, I couldn’t be MORE happy about the jogger making its way into spring and summer. I’m wearing a black utility pair in linen, but you can find them in other fabrics like silk, cotton and even denim. And they look amazing dressed up or down. I dressed these up with ruffles and clear heels, but you can get any easy, breezy casual look with a Tee and sneakers. Make it a slouched white Tee (off one shoulder) and a pair of your favorite platform sneakers and you are good to go. You can also pair them with a white silk button up and a pair of your fave stilettos, with a clutch and JOILA!!! There really isn’t a limit to what you can do. Whatever you decide, though, I promise will be great. And you’ll feel great.
So do yourself a favor and invest in a great pair of some joggers. You’ll get so much use of them whether you have a Friday night out on the town or a lazy Sunday lounging around.
