I have a lot of milestones to celebrate in the coming months and I couldn’t be more excited. I have a niece who is expecting a baby, a dear friend who is getting married and a newly engaged family member. And in spite of all that is going on now, I am looking forward to honoring loved ones with a customized celebration when the time is right.
I always want the best in anything I put my name on (duh, Cherry-Picked!!), so I rely on Basic Invite, Truly Custom Invitations, to ensure that not only my parties, but my invites stand out. Basic Invite gives tons of stationery options, but ultimately put the creativity in my hands by allowing me to design my invitations online, all in the comfort of my home.
It is one of the few sites that gives its customers color options with instant online previews. So I select a design, determine what and how much I want it to say and I change the elements to basically any color(s) I want. There are more than 180 colors so finding what I want is never a problem.
We don’t know what my niece is having yet, so I focused on cute baby shower invitations for baby girls and boys. Like I said, they have so many options, but I narrowed my choices down to two that I am in love with–pink-and-white polka dots for a baby girl and a blue hot-air balloon theme for a baby boy.
It is so comforting knowing that I can order a sample of my actual invitations before I hit “purchase.” That way, I get to see and touch my invites to ensure I’ve made the right choice in color, design and quality.
For the bridal shower, I fell in love with their Tiffany-esque invitation and went with the option to change the shape. The available shapes are square, round, bracket and ticket. I chose ticket for the bridal shower and it’s perfect for the theme.
For those who want to match their invitations with their envelopes, that is also an option. I like traditional white envelopes and will stick with those. However, there are more than 40 envelope color choices to ensure a great match and instead of the sticky-back closure, they have peel and seal for an easy, less messy closure. Just peel the sticker and seal the envelope–clean, neat, classy. Another reason I love using Basic Invite.
I also love their address capturing service that allows me to share a link on Instagram, Facebook and other social media outlets that can request family and friends’ addresses and store them in my online account. I can select those names and addresses during the design process which makes it super efficient. In addition, recipient address printing is free for all card orders. Oh, I almost forgot that foil cards in silver, gold and rose gold are available and there is an option to choose flat or raised foil on all foil designs.
These are just a few of the reasons when I want to go all out with invitations, I go with Basic Invite. They are one-of-a-kind invitations. And if you are looking for more ideas to complement your theme, you can find baby shower games ideas on their site as well. As you can see, there is truly nothing basic about Basic Invite. And I have great news!! They are offering 15% off orders with coupon code 15FF51. Take a look. You can thank me later!!
